There’s so much to do, see, learn and shop for at the Raleigh Home Show, so to better help you plan your visit, here’s a list of the top 5 not-to-be-missed features at the show – aside from celebrity guests HGTV’s John Gidding (Curb Appeal) and The Fabulous Beekman Boys.

Raleigh Home Show

1. The Idea House. This all new feature brings a 1,400-square-foot home right inside the Raleigh Convention Center. Guests can tour this abode – specifically designed for the Raleigh Home Show – and get ideas and inspiration.

2. The Cooking Stage Presented by The Recipe And News & Observer. The kitchen is the heart of the home – and it’s the heart of the Raleigh Home Show. Each day, local and regional chefs will demonstrate recipes for guests just in time for the upcoming holiday entertaining season. The best part? Samples!

3. Fresh Ideas Home Stage. Local and regional experts on home improvement and design will present educational and informative seminars throughout the show on the Fresh Ideas Home Stage.

4. Hero Day. The show salutes our community’s heroes on Friday, February 17 with Hero Day. All Active & Retired Military and First Responders (EMTs, firefighters, police) will receive complimentary admission to Raleigh Home Show. Valid ID is required.

5. Home Grown Marketplace. The Raleigh Home Show has designed a special space filled with a selection of carefully curated boutique offerings from artisans, craftspeople, and boutique businesses representing the Greater Triangle Region. All of the companies in this neighborhood offer their products for purchase, so guests can get a head start on holiday shopping from local purveyors.
